BEST TRIP EVER!!!

This one is also a little outdated....

Some things are just meant to be....and our trip to the Rose Bowl was just that.  We had a great place to stay with my Aunt Margie and Uncle Bob in Palm Springs.  Cassie's grandfather was so generous to share his awesome tickets with us.  We watched the parade from a VIP section we were invited to for free at the very last minute.    We met the nicest man in a McDonald's on the way to the parade who gave us two tickets to the VIP section (which included free donuts, coffee & hot chocolate), a free parking pass, and he let us follow him in, so we didn't hit a bit of traffic.  One of the hosts of our parade section recommended a great bar to spend our down time before the game started.  We found a table at Barney's Beanery with it's own personal TV so we could watch the Penn State game.  They were winning all the while we were there.  When we moved our car closer to the Rose Bowl before the game, we met some really fun Wisconsin tailgaters who invited us to join them.  And most importantly TCU WON THE ROSE BOWL!!!  Everywhere we went, everyone we met was just so nice.

Yay Showgirls!!

CHIPS!!

Thanks Wilson for the terrific seats!!

This sign was funny, but not as funny as the one behind us that said
"Your Offensive Line may be bigger.... but so are your WOMEN!!!"

The only bad thing was that my Aunt Margie couldn't be there with us because she was in Mexico tending to my Pawpaw.  Bob was a terrific host though and their friends made us feel so welcome at their New Year's party.  Also, the weather was pretty cold.  So much for sunny and warm in Southern California.  A little cold air and grey skies couldn't dampen my excitement!

P.S. None of the pictures show how adorable I looked in my new TCU boots and skinny jeans.  But trust me, I was rockin' it.
