20 Months

This is an oldie that I wrote and never posted.....now is as good of a time as any, I suppose.

Today is Jack's 20 Month Birthday!  Though not as much of a milestone as 18 months, it seemed like a good time to get back to blogging.  Here are some random things about him that somehow seemed worth sharing on this special day:

Jack LOVES sports! 
Soccer - Some of my favorite moments are running around our backyard kicking the soccer ball.  He walks up to the ball, lines up and swings his little leg.  I think it's just precious! And most of the time he makes contact.
Baseball - He got a bat and ball for his first birthday and loves to have the ball thown to him while he's holding the bat, but since he hasn't figured out how to swing at the moving ball yet....  it's kind of difficult to pitch it directly to the bat.  So, Santa got him t-ball set for Christmas and he loves it!  He played with it by himself for almost 45 minutes while we all opened the rest of our presents.
Football - Jack has an eagle eye when it comes to anything football.  The past few monmths at our house have been all about college football and Jack has definitely caught on. Anytime we have it on TV (which was a lot during bowl season), he says "Football!" If he sees a football helment in s ports bar, he'll point to it and say "Football!" The other day we were in the car and turned on a game to listen to on the radio and from his car seat I heard him cheer, "Footbal!."
Golf- This is definitely his favorite.  He has a great golf swing and can even set up a ball on a tee.  Jack is just as happy watching the golf channel as he is watching cartoons.  Anytime he sees someone take a swing, he says 'whoa.'  He is going to have some much fun playing golf with his grandpas some day. 

Jack loves animals!  I am very impressed with how well he can identify them and say their sounds.  I particularly love his elephant.  We have cousin Maricarol to thank for teaching us the proper technique.

Other things Jack loves: Elevators, Escalators (we can't drive past a mall without Jack saying "Up, Up", Slides (which he now has one in his living room), Yo Gabba Gabba, Wonder Pets, Trains (especially Thomas), School Buses, Baths, Books, Dancing to music, Brushing his teeth, Cookies

Things Jack Hates: Putting on clothes (seriously, I think he may be a nudist.)  Not getting everything he wants  (This kid is learning to throw some intense little tantrums already.) Vegatables (yeah, me neither).

Pajama pants over his clothes.  Backpack and his BooBoo Bunny (he may have bumped his head right before this picture).  This kid is a mess, but I am crazy about him!!!
